As an 800-year-old high elf, Galadrathrill has led an isolated life surrounded by servants and sycophants, coddled by the wealth of his family. Against his parents' wishes, he struck out on his own to break free of his pampered life and acquired a magical trinket shop from his new friend, Emmit Undercroft. Without the support of his home, Galadrathrill has begrudgingly learned to contend with the labors of everyday life.

In recent weeks, Galadrathrill was approached by Emmit and a group of adventurers, asking if he could serve as a guide through the elven woods of Cormanthor. Galadrathrill agreed and quickly became acquainted with his new traveling companions, later assisting them in their fight against Vernin Aldrith. Though he was personally humiliated by the events at Scardale, Galadrathrill holds his head high, using every ounce of effort to convince himself and his family that he is capable of surviving on his own.
